A Must Read For Carroll Shelby Fans!

By Phil Henny
Foreword by Carroll Shelby

After the victory at Le Mans in 1966, Henry Ford II decided to return in 1967 with a redesigned race car. Now built in America, at Kar Kraft in Dearborn, and meticulously prepared by Carroll Shelby's winning crew, the new 427 c.i. Ford MKIV, was ready to go back to the continent and confront the red army of Enzo Ferrari.

A young Swiss mechanic Phil Henny joined the Shelby team and participated in the development and construction of the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans winner driven by Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt. This fabulous experience allowed him to embark on a fantastic journey into the American racing scene, making it a must read for fans of 1960s sports car racing.

This book is from a large private collection and is long out of print. It displays very well and the jacket is in great shape. We ship the continental U.S. 48 states only. Thanks!
